What Is An Instant Freeze Machine?

An instant freeze machine is a device that can quickly freeze food to extremely low temperatures and is commonly used in the food processing and storage industries. Compared to ordinary freezing equipment, the core feature of a instant freeze machine is that it can quickly lower the temperature of food in a very short time, usually to below -18°C within 30 minutes. Through instant freezing, the moisture in food will quickly crystallize into small ice particles, reducing the damage of large ice crystals to the cell structure, thereby better preserving the taste, nutritional value and freshness of the food.

Working Principle:

Based on the rapid reduction of the air temperature around the food to an extremely low temperature, the moisture on the surface and inside of the food is quickly cooled to achieve a frozen state. Instant freeze machine generally use forced air convection to accelerate cooling and ensure that the food is frozen in a short time. During the instant freezing process, cold air blows towards the food from all directions, cooling its surface and interior at the same time, ultimately achieving a uniform and instant freezing effect.

Instant freeze machine can be divided into many types according to the freezing method, mainly including the following:

*Tunnel quick freezer

*Fluidized quick freezer

*Plate quick freezer

Advantages:

Maintaining food quality: Due to the formation of small ice crystals during the instant freezing process, the moisture structure of the food is less damaged, so it can maintain a better taste and texture after thawing.

Locking in nutrients: Rapid freezing technology can better preserve the nutrients in food and reduce the loss of vitamins and minerals.

Extended shelf life: The shelf life of quick-frozen foods is usually much longer than that of ordinary refrigerated foods because the low temperature environment can inhibit the growth of bacteria and microorganisms.

Reduce storage costs: During food transportation and storage, quick-frozen foods have a long storage time, which helps with logistics and inventory management.
